Hi Stephanie,
Just tried to send the latest Tricordant Newsletter to you secondarfutures.co.nz email address, so I have resent to the email address you've given above. If you don't get it let me know. Tim
I have taken your contact details from the FutureMakers website. It stated if
someone wished to be a part of the process they should contact you.
I have been involved in recreation and community planning for over a decade now.
In this sector I have become increasingly interested in how social changes will
influence the way communities interact and live, using recreation and sport as a
focus tool. Recently i have been almost totally involved in working with groups
to facilitate their understanding of probable, possible and preferred futures.
I would be keen to contribute and/or help in any way possible toward your
project.
I am a Board member of Futures Aotearoa (NZ Futures Trust) and the NZ Recreation
Assn.
I look forward to hearing how i might become involved.
Regards

About me
Until recently I worked for Secondary Futures, one of the three original FutureMakers partners. I am currently working with a range of government and non-government agencies on a variety of futures and strategic foresight projects.
Secondary Futures, part of the OECD 'Schooling for Tomorrow' Project was set up to have a conversation with New Zealand about secondary schooling 20 years from now and collected New Zealanders' vision for a system that would make more young people successful. My role was in systems change and supporting others to embed the move towards that vision in their work today.
I have had a range of roles building futures capability over the last six years. As part of the FutureMakers team, I've been very aware of the need fo New Zealand to have both wider-spread capability in thinking about the long-run, as a matter of course, and to build up some deeper, focussed expertise around the technical side of futures thinking.
