At the heart of the
FutureMakers
project are a series of conversations between groups of thoughtful
New Zealanders: • across all areas of society (academia, business,
community and government) • using a futures perspective to not get
caught by today’s or yesterday’s questions • considering New
Zealand futures in a global context, 20 years from now • drawing on
existing information and knowledge to generate new insights •
identifying areas of consensus and debate about challenges and
potential solutions • producing summaries of information and
conversations in forms that can be used and engaged with by all New
Zealanders. You can read what came out of the five FutureMakers
