The Institute of Policy Studies in the VUW School of Government, Landcare Research and Secondary Futures have formed a partnership to work together on building capability for thinking forward in New Zealand. The partnership is called FutureMakers.
Who are the people involved in the Futuremakers project?
· Mason Durie Rangitane, Ngāti Kauwhata and Ngāti Raukawa, Guardian of Secondary Futures and Professor of Māori Research and Development at Massey University acts as FutureMakers project sponsor.
· Stephanie Pride, Chief Advisor at Secondary Futures is an experienced futures thinker and drives the design of FutureMakers. She brings a depth of experience in building futures capability.
· Bob Frame, Principal Scientist at Landcare Research, guides the project strategies and concepts and leads the environmental and technological futuring aspects of the project.
· Derek Gill, Visiting Scholar at the Institute of Policy Studies brings long standing experience in the public sector and the economic perspective as well as the academic links into the project
· The Project Manager, Tanja Rother, holds the nuts and bolts together on a daily basis, as well as contributing to many of the work streams.
