Start by asking the right questions

The questions we need to address to solve the problems of the future may not be the same questions we need to answer to meet the challenges of today. 

This project has pulled together available information about current and emerging trends and explored what it might mean for New Zealand with groups of thoughtful, well-informed New Zealanders. 

Through this process we have identified the questions that we think New Zealander needs to be asking themselves if they are to be Future Makers rather than Future Takers.

Some of the key questions that have evolved in these conversations are:

How might we earn our living?

What might ‘New Zealander’ mean?

How will we be managing our resources?

What sort of a neighbour will we be in the Pacific?
