Hi, I saw this piece in the papers over the weekend making reference to the NZ Centre for Social Innovation.

Have any of you come across this before or know where any further information can be got from?

Hi Tim,

You've probably found out the answer to this already, as we've been pretty quiet on the site for a while. The NZ Centre for Social Innovation is based in Auckland and headed by Justine Munro. One of their current initiatives is S I Camp (Social Innovation Camp). The first and highly successful meet up of web-experts, people at the coal-face and innovators was held in Wellington last week. Many, many ideas were generated for meeting social need and the next step will be to take some of those forward. There is an Auckland meet up planned for August and the idea of a Christchurch one was mooted. The organisers are saying this is just the beginning and it's a great point at which to join and get involved.
